In 1988, Mazda came out with a world class rotary powered sports car, the RX7 Convertible.
In so many ways, this fun to drive roadster was a car ahead of it's time!

This website is dedicated to these great rotary rockets and the profound effect they've had on their owners and sports car enthusiasts throughout the world.

Here's some general information about these cars:

  • Produced from 1988 to 1991 during the run of the 2nd generation RX7's.
  • Only colors offered were Red, Black, Blue and White.
  • All were fully equipped standard with BBS Wheels, Power Windows, AM/FM Cassette with Headrest Speakers (most had CD too!), Power Top with Removable Targa Panel, Security System, Leather Interior, Cruise Control and Air Conditioning.
  • Original MRSP was $28k to $31k depending on year, transmission and options.
 

Best of all, these cars were well set for aftermarket upgrades! Many manufacturers are offering very high quality parts and accessories to make your RX7 the sweet machine its potential calls for!
